Sinéad specialises in Employment Law and trained in London before moving back home to the North West where she worked for an international law firm for 6 years. Sinéad has also gained experience in-house through her time on secondment with an international airline.
Sinéad has acted for clients (including FTSE 100 companies and SMEs) in defending employment tribunal claims covering a wide range of issues, such as discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing and equal pay.
She regularly advises businesses in relation to discrimination law in the workplace in addition to a wide range of other day to day employment issues such as grievances, disciplinaries, sickness absence, performance management and employee rights as well as more extensive and often sensitive redundancy situations and TUPE matters.
Her work also includes drafting and negotiating contracts of employment, contracts for services, settlement agreements, TUPE indemnities, employment related policies and assisting on corporate transactions.
